Maple or rosewood

Looking at getting a taylor that is maple or another guitar that has rosewwod back and sides. What are some pros and cons to these woods?

rosewood is bassier, maple is cheaper

Rosewood: Deep and Bassy, long sustain, complex overtones

Maple: bright and snappy, short sustain

Really just depends on your playing style. I like maple on 12 strings and live guitars

I like rosewood on recording guitars.
Do I listen to pop music because I'm miserable or am I miserable because I listen to pop music?

i never thought maple had sustain until i played a doyle dykes taylor...wow
