DMB Masterpiece

Unread post by PlayLikeDave » Sat Nov 29, 2003 11:31 am

Does anyone think that DMB has one song that should be hailed above all others as their masterpiece. I have been thinking about this for awile, and I can't really come up with a definite answer. I don't think that there is a definite answer, but

I just wanna know what everyone thinks.

If I had to go with something, I might say 'Crush' or Two Step or 'Stay or Leave' or 'I'll Back You Up' (I know those 2 are just Dave) . So many others that I love.

So whatdya think?

peace
PS: berate me if this has been asked b4
I love you oh so well, like a kid loves candy and fresh snow.

41, bartender, two step, the stone

if i had to pick one song to represent dave i think of what i would want them to play for their last song at their last show, if that were to ever happen... ( i know theres been a thread on this )

but i have to say it would be either tripping billies, two step, or ants marching

those songs are the real heavyweights, the ones that are the absolute best feeling songs and when theyre played really right just leave your jaw on the floor... theyre the songs that brought fans and never really let you down

I really enjoy all of his songs equally.. depending on my mood i'll favor one over the other, but i think they're all equally amazing to me..

Two Step or The Stone, just because the whole band is so totally involved on both.

nah, i don't think dave can be defined in one song if you ask me. nor an album for that matter. like metallica....black album. nirvana....nevermind. pearl jam....ten. dave doesn't have something like that. you know, that put them on the map or defines them as where they were loved the most. you kinda have to listen to them all to get the full dave effect.

two step is so great because it really showcases the band's ability to play together - but ants kinda blows everything else away - especially after you see it live :D
