Taylor Limiteds Questions

Unread post by jsgksu » Fri Nov 28, 2003 1:24 pm

So, Ive been telling myself this for a while but I really want a new guitar and I think Ive at least decided that I wanna get a lower end Taylor acoustic electric cutaway now then a Martin HD 35 when Im older. So Id really like a Taylor in the 300-400 series. Id really like to get a 2003 400 series limited with the rosewood and es system. Does anyone know if theyre still selling these or are they all done now? And how much do they go for? I probably have more questions but I cant think of them right now, Ill post later if I can remember. Thanks for any help.

there are still some in stores...you have to look at a smaller dealer, not a guitar center though. they should go for the same amount as a regular 400 series.

the coolest ones i think were the 710SPECS...the summer limiteds ..cocobolo b/s with a maple wedge & binding....so cool...

Heheh I just bought a 414rce today and HOLY SHIT. Yea definitiely gonna cost you a pretty penny more then a normal 414ce but its worth it. It sounds just like an 814ce with Indian Rosewood but just not as pretty. Absolutely perfect guitar, I paid 1700 for mine and I wont be regretting it

Thats what I thought, how much should I be thinking about spending for that guitar shane. Also, its been a while since I was looking into getting a guitar, I had kinda came up with an idea to look at a list price and figure out what it would cost at a dealer but I forget. What would you say you normally pay, like 60-65% of list price. Thanks.

Me too, but I still havent played one, stupid I know. Im hoping to go to a guitar store and play all the Taylor 300-400ce models, regular and limited then make my pick from there, Imjust gonna assume its the 410cel2 and save for that one and then see when I finally get my hands on a few.

im not getting a new guitar until i can afford a high end one. id love to play around though. as much as i love Taylors, ive heard amazing things of many other brands. im really intrigued by Breedlove because they started in the Taylor factory, yet ive heard the sound is completely different.
