Question about posting original songs on the internet

Unread post by Taylor614 » Sat Nov 11, 2006 9:14 pm

Hi,
I know a lot of you guys post your own songs on here, and they're really good. I was going to up a few of mine or create a Soundclick account. The thing that I was worried about was people (not anyone on here, I trust you guys, but like guests or random people from the internet), taking my ideas or songs. Do you guys copyright your songs or anything like that before posting them? I would appreciate the help. Thanks, this is just something that I'm not completely sure of.
My guitars:
Taylor 714
Taylor 614ce
Martin Sigma DR-41
Epiphone Chet Atkins SST (Ebony)
Danelectro 56-U2 reissue
Fender American Deluxe Strat
Fender Aerodyne Telecaster
BC Rich Eagle Custom

Random movie quote to make you seem hip and "with it": As long as there's, you know, sex and drugs, I can do without the rock and roll.

Most likely not, a lot of people put the little c with a circle around it, but its not real. It is a risk you run when you post original stuff.
Do I listen to pop music because I'm miserable or am I miserable because I listen to pop music?

I enjoy messing with flies. I hold them up above a globe, and they freak out, like 'WHOA, I'm WAY too high!'
