Building a band - ???
Building a band - ???
any advice.... i'm doing my solo thing right now and have been for the last year or so... any tips on what to do for starting out a band... i guess first thing is first, i need a lead guitarist... i guess you could consider this Fisher Price: My First Band... but it is what it is...
any advice would be much appreciated. i figure there's plenty of people in here that have had some experience with this...
thank you in advance...

Also put it up in University music buildings, coffee shops, libraries, record stores. Places you think musicians hang out.
Go to open mic nights. Sometimes you will find guys that you like, or have a similar style to. You might even impress someone in the crowd. Dont be nervous about approaching musicians after open mics and stuff. Most of the time, if you can hold your own, anyone will be open to jamming with you.
