It seems it is not worth it to spend the extra money on the spruce top:

But I'm a little affraid of buying this 15Eur uku, because it is a little too cheap and is probably crap:

I'm taking my final decision. I believe it is worth it to give a little bit more (+35Eur) and have a better instrument, that will last longer.

Thus, I'm going for this one:

Just wanted you guys to agree with me, so that my conscience can be ok...

So, do you agree?!

I wasn't able to find Rogue in that German store, but I guess I prefer the stupid small ukulele.

I was just not sure if it is worth it to spend the additional money for the potential additional quality...

EDIT: Who's that in your av?

All mandolins I've found are above 100 Euros, and that's way too much. I think the uku might be enough to entertain me and keep my fingers moving while I don't play guitar...

i w0ould MUCH rather play that thing than a uke. granted, it is a POS mandolin, but you really wont know the difference.

I agree with you man. A Mandolin has much more to explore. But can I order it from the States to Portugal at MusiciansFriend?

Man, thanks a lot for that! (I'm impressed with your initiative )

Well, I guess I'm gonna order the 15Eur uku (The guys form the store confirmed that the all Mahogany one would have a better sound).
