as a good show of faith, you should listen to some other people's songs/covers before requesting the listening of your own...however, i shall listen and give you my best critique anyway. be right back

edit:

Love Me Down - the only thing i can think while hearing this is that you're so far from being relaxed. your vocals are very very forced, but on key and energetic so therefore, at least enjoyable. but i would suggest you tone down the dynamics a bit. w/ the chorus or major rhythm change came a lot of sloppiness and confusion. I would only suggest to try to tighten that part up a bit cause it's a good change in the song.

Feel - Very cool relaxed song to begin w/. I dig it. I like the changes. Very natural. I like this song a lot. good job on the falsettos. maybe could be stronger, but that's the pot calling the kettle black.

your recording quality is good, i would suggest turning the volume up on your songs some. i have my itunes all the way up and my computer volume up 9/10 of the way. so turning it up would make it easier to listen to. other than that, i would say relax a little and you're on your way to some very solid songs.

good work

lovemedown-Thanks, I'm definitely forcing the Sweeeeheeet loving down where I take it up...But I thought I was relaxed other than that, can you give me a little more feedback on that? What do you mean by toning down the dynamics? Yes the chorus is sloppy and the hook steps on it.. I'll have to clean it up and resubmit.... I hate when I rush things just to get them down... I'll take my time with it and put up a worthy post of it.

Feel-Thanks.... this song is much easier for me to play because I mean it right now......but yes, vocals gotta get stronger.. their getting there.. just not there yet...But I really like the idea... Glad you liked it..

I have more I'll post soon, just very busy tonight, it's been a long shitty day...maybe a little later...

I gave your myspace a listen to last night. I really enjoyed you're solo work towords the end... and the songs sounded good...I think It was the first one?... I'll give a more serious listen to them later and give you some better feedback.

Cool, I use Cubase sx, going through a bluetube preamp & maki dx12(meant for live shows thing it screws things up more than it helps...) and groovtube mic.. I play Taylor 414ce, you? What about you?

Thanks again, I appreciate it

Random movie quote to make you seem hip and "with it": As long as there's, you know, sex and drugs, I can do without the rock and roll.

Cool. I like the tune a lot, your vocals are very expressive and at times soulful. Im not crazy about the backup vocals though, they drift in and out of key. You might be better off taking your original vocal track and just doubling it and panning it left and right. It will give you a Shins type sound which i think would fit very well.

Good Job, keep posting
Do I listen to pop music because I'm miserable or am I miserable because I listen to pop music?

good voice, gotta say. And the ending was great too, "can you feel my love" i liked that part them most. The tempo speeds up a little when you transition into the second chord progression or the chorus i guess it would be. Otherwise you belted it out nicely. Hope to hear more from you.

Thanks Guys, I really apprecaite the feedback.

Which backing vocals are you talking about Buff? The "baby don't go, baby don't go?" or some of the others where I cheesily tried to double? I really did a rush crappy job with that song, I promise to take my time on it and repost for ya'll.

Indeed, I gotta start messing with panning.. I'll try that for sure.. btw shins rock...Garden state was a great movie and I was glad to see them on the Sound Track.

Banjo, thanks, glad you liked it. Indeed my timing was a lil off, I'm trying to get better at just recording a take and thats it.. I figure I'll be better live if I can get to the point where every recording is worth keeping... but I'm just not there yet.. I was thinking about laying down a drum track for that song first and then recording it... it may help with the timing and make the trasitions smoother with some drum fills.. whacha think?

Sounds like some percussion would do the job. Im not too much a fan of MIDI drum beats but if you can get like a djembe or something in there thatd be awesome.

Sweet, Yeah me neither on the midi... I just got EZdrummer and been playing with that.. it's nice.. but just isn't the real thing...

I'm gonna get a V-drum kit soon, I know some nasty drummers who I shouldn't even be playing with ;)
