new music - please critique

Unread post by sideburns027 » Mon Oct 30, 2006 6:47 pm

Whats up everyone? My name is Jeremy and I am a long time fan of the site. The boards are what keeps everything going, especially without any recent updates to the main site tabs. ANNNNYWAYS, I was finally convinced to start a myspace for my music. Check it out if you have a minute, feel free to comment!!
Be easy,
Jeremy

i think it sounds good, no complaints.

do you play the drums and bass too, or is that electronic, or a friend?

Random movie quote to make you seem hip and "with it": As long as there's, you know, sex and drugs, I can do without the rock and roll.

Hey man,

I dig this stuff! Seriously, its unique mainly because of your voice. Really cool. I'm checking out footsteps right now and i really like it. The layered guitars are cool and the bass adds a lot. Are you playing all this or are you in a band? This song, instrumentally reminds me a lot of you never know but at a slower pace, and i mean that in a good way.

Well thats all i have time for now, but ill definitely check out the other stuff later.
Do I listen to pop music because I'm miserable or am I miserable because I listen to pop music?

I like your voice and i think the instrumentals are creative enough to compliment it.
Its just a game I play, cause I roll that way.

Yea, I have a band that plays with me. I play the guitar and sing, then there is a bassist and a drummer. The tunes were recorded in an hour by a friend of mine who found some time in the middle of the night at the studio he works at. It would have been nice to multi-track, but the tunes were all done live (except for the overlay on footsteps). Thanks for the compliments!!!

rock. keep up the good work.

I like the unique vocal delivery - there are no pitch or intonation issues as far as I can tell. also, the band seems tight enough. maybe jump off the deep end with a few interesting twists as the music is a little predictable - HOWEVER, thats just if you want to expand your horizons a little bit.

i liked it.
