i went down to "Steves music" one of the bigger stores in canada to screw around with some guitars.. annd fell in love with the taylor 810. its about 2600$ canadian without electronics.. and 2900$ canadian with electronics. i was totally impressed and im considering buying it for my next guitar.. im in no hurry to get a new one right now though.

just curious as to other peoples experiences with this guitar??

I have played that one a bunch of times. It was very very nice. All taylors have such a great tone

I am not a taylor person, but that guitar did sound great. Had a lot more bass than most taylors.

Check out a Larrivee D-03R, very very similiar and less than half the price!
Do I listen to pop music because I'm miserable or am I miserable because I listen to pop music?

would a 810 be cheaper than a 714?

i went last week to long Mcquade and i asked the guy how much it was...when he said "three thou.." i just thought "ah forget it"

check the agf classifieds, you can get a good deal on a used (sometimes mint) one if it shows up

yea taylors website has it listed as 3048 american without electronics.. i know most guitar dealers will have it for cheaper then listed anyways... but i think 2600 canadian is a pretty sweet deal.. plus its a starting point im sure i can talk it down a little bit. i also really like that i can pay it monthly as well if i get it from that store.
