Hey yall, I got my larrivee d-03 sapele this past summer just haven't gotten around to showing you guys. But wow this thing is a true gem. This thing has outplayed and just plain beat the shorts off of every other guitar ive ever played including all the high end martins and taylors you can imagine. The sound is just unbelieveable. Bass is crisp and mellow, mids just stand out amazingly and the highs are perfect. They all blend together to make the perfect guitar. I will never ever ever get rid of this guitar. It's perfect for any style of playing, my style is very aggressive and rhythmic, alot of muted chords like dave and this is perfect for that. It sounds incredible anyway you play it. The playability is pretty much that of a taylor. Guys, try out Larrivee you won't regret it. Oh yeah heres some pics
Umm, I don't know how to post pictures. Man I feel like a noob.

Congrats on the purchase! I don't think you'll regret it one bit. I own a D-03E as well. Just wondering, how would you compare the Mahogony to the Sapele? (I guess I'm assuming you've played a Mahogony model).

I think that the Sapele has a bit more bass to it, which I really like. Still very fluid and clear though, not overpowering.

The iMiX? Or the I-Beam? I've got a K&K Pure Western Mini in mine, sounds pretty darn good for 90 bucks and no external pre amp.

gazman: Congrats man, I have the exact same guitar, and I love it to death. I'll never need a new one. I got it before the summer in Canada and had to wait a month or two before I got it to Norway. I still remember the smell the first time I picked it up...beautiful, beautiful beautiful
