Alternate Stay Version

Unread post by cpowell21 » Mon Oct 23, 2006 8:35 pm

I have searched and searched and cannot find the alternate version of stay. It sounded a little bit more full than the official version. If anyone remembers this version and could post it or a link, I would really appreciate it.
If your friend is already dead, and being eaten by vultures, I think it's okay to feed some bits of your friend to one of the vultures, to teach him to do some tricks. But ONLY if you're serious about adopting the vulture.

Same exact tabs as on this site but it's in 3/4 time.

I thought it was 6/8. Similar feel I guess. I don't think I've heard it, though. But then again, I hate Stay anyway.

6 divided by two equals 3, eight divided by two equals 4.

im pretty sure im just being an ass, but ya 6/8 and 3/4 same thing, different notation.

negative. they sound similar, but 6/8 and 3/4 are by no means the same thing.

6 8th notes per measure

3 quarter notes per measure

not the same thing.

probably what I ment when i said different notation.

EDIT-

anyways what I was trying to say is it's both tripple-meter, so i think it's best that it's dropped

I also don't really like stay played that way either. it seems to rushed and smashed together, takes away a lot of the feel and groove of the song.
