hi! for anyone kind enough to listen

i put up a little bit of Fake Plastic Trees...
http://www.purevolume.com/maxjordan/
(there's also me totally messin around with my voice on watchtower)
i'm looking for some vocal critiquing... i've only been singing a few months, before that i couldn't do anything with my voice. but i practice every day for a few hours and that's pretty much why from one week to the next i feel like i improve a whole lot.
thanks!

it's funny, cause the notes where you're on, you sound good, but when you miss, you don't miss by half a step, you miss by a lot. i didn't hear you before but if you say you could do nothing w/ it, then i would say that your practice is paying off. you still have some control problems like i said, but the more you practice, the better that's going to get. keep working at it, you have good potential.

thanks for the feedback! can you give me a particular phrase when i'm particularly out of tune? do you mean i'm off of how it's actually sung or i'm out of tune w/ the guitar?
ps.. yeah i couldn't hold a note, stay in tune, recognize what was in tune or out of tune, use head voice or anything like that. i went from absolutely zero to where i am now...

A little off on the words 'crumble', 'eighties' and 'real thing'. It might sound a wee bit better if instead of "alwaaaaays wins", you sang "aaaaaalways wins".
I liked it though. Definitely a rock voice you have, and it sounded good.
You left out my favourite part -- 'and i can't help the feeling i could blow through the ceiling'.
Stay with me, safe and ignorant.

First of all I have to say, I adore this song so much, there is almost no way I could say too many bad things.
The single guitar track has a nice feeling. The vocals are almost there, keep on it, i enjoyed this. Thanks for posting.
