Another new guitar thread

Unread post by Nuladion » Mon Oct 16, 2006 7:00 pm

So I just bought a new Larrivee L-03R and am really happy with it. I need to get a pickup in it though, and the guitar shop I bought it at reccomended a Martin Gold pickup. Does anyone have any experience with these? I can try to get some pictures up later.

Edit: I posted this in the wrong forum. Im such an idiot.

I really really like the LR Baggs M1. Its a soundhole pickup, but it really sounds good and you can install it yourself if you are competent with a drill.

Do I listen to pop music because I'm miserable or am I miserable because I listen to pop music?

If you don't mind me asking...how much did you pay for it. I bought a D-03 last may and paid 910 total. Your guitar was the ideal choice but couldn't find it.

I paid just a little over 1,000. It was from a local shop and included the hardcase. He is going to install my pickup and give me regular setups for free, so I think it will work out well.
