loving wings timing
im sorry if some one has already asked about this, but the timing on loving wings is throwing me off. i always think i have it but then when i listen to it it sounds completely off(maybe im thinking too much). usually i can listen to a song and get the timing first try...not this one.

dont. its just better if you pick them individually. just listen to a recording of the song and try to play along. thats the easiest way to do it. also the 'pull off notes' (the 2 0 2 0) are 16th notes if that helps at all.Guitar Cruiser wrote:no just all the opens and 2's he hits in a row..i feel like i should hammer and pull off those but or less the whole riff in general

I had trouble with this one at first as well, funny how such a simple song can give u problems at first. It does take a lot of practice and listening and playing along to a recording to get it right on. There's not a whole lot of suggestions other than to say keep playing it over and over and maybe watch the Gorge DVD ... you can kind of see in that one, better than any other video anyway, how he moves his fingers. The timing will kick in the more you play it.
On a side note it's one of my favorite songs to play live. People respond real well to it too.
