what do you play?
what do you play?
Everyone hear obviously enjoys playing Dave, but who else do you cover? Personally, I have been playing a lot of David Grey, Dispatch, Beatles and Cat Stevens lately. The vast majority being acoustic solo.
....scratched my head and the answers were gone....

...lately I've been listening to a few Howie Day tunes which I'm beginning to like. She Says is a pretty fun song to play - its easy but its busy.

)....i love playing Ben Harper, Pearl Jam, Blues Traveler, Pink FLoyd...some Zeppelin...lots of other random crappe too
Working on all of Eric Claptons acoustical stuff right now..and trying to figure out John Mayer and Howie Day without the use of any tabs.

Howie Day isn't near as hard to figure out as some of Mayer's songs. songs like 83, 3x5, No Such Thing, Neon, Great Indoors etc.... the chords are different a lot of the times and uses a capo for a few of them. anyway, it's good practice to figure out songs on your own but if you want a great site for Mayer tabs, look no further:Hash wrote:

Hey thanks a lot gravedigger. I know Howie isnt hard..but i have yet to sit down and figure them out. My aim of trying John Mayer WITHOUT tabs has been completely crushed now--since i have the website.gravedigger wrote:Howie Day isn't near as hard to figure out as some of Mayer's songs. songs like 83, 3x5, No Such Thing, Neon, Great Indoors etc.... the chords are different a lot of the times and uses a capo for a few of them. anyway, it's good practice to figure out songs on your own but if you want a great site for Mayer tabs, look no further:Hash wrote:
