McPherson guitar

Anyone play one of these guitars? They sound amazing on the website but it may just be the people playing them.

I've never seen/played one, but I don't appreciate the look very much...

I'm not a huge fan of the offset soundhole. I dunno why. I just like the more traditional look.

I think they are beautiful guitars and would love to try one out. They are very expensive, most of the models on that page were 4000$+. I have never seen one of these at a guitar shop, but Ive seen them advertised in magazines before. That country singer Brad Paisley playes one, whatever thats worth.

Brad paisley is a hell of a guitar player. so anything he plays must be good quality.


i've done some research into these guitars and apparently the offset whole is very specifically set to optimize something...

plus the neck of the guitar doesn't touch the guitar top. they leave a gap inbetween which alows the guitar to do something...


supposedly its an amazing difference.

MacPherson makes incredible instruments. Plain and simple. They might not fit if you're trying to play Dave Matthews, but they are incredible.
