Are you trying to keep this strictly DMB stuff? Or do you want songs from outside of DMB too?

My suggestions if just DMB -
- "Lover Lay Down"
- "Crush"

nDMB -
- "Wish You Were Here" by Pink Floyd
- "Open Arms" by Journey (A girl I used to like liked this song, so I learned it...never got to play it for her tho :( )
- "If You Could Only See" by Tonic

That is what I might go with

peace
I love you oh so well, like a kid loves candy and fresh snow.

Write a song for her, then play it for her.

That would be the best.

the one g/f I had, I wrote a song for her. She didn't like my singing voice, though. I really never actualy finished the song completely, and I really don't enjoy singing about the relationship with how it ended. Oh well.

I actually broke it down into a science in a thread a long time ago. Don't ask me to remember which one it was.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

I'm dating one of those girls that DOESN't likea guy singing stuff for her, but I did sing Waiting On an Angel by Ben Harper for her and she freakin melted...that song is good to sing for any girl...friend of more than a friend cos that's just a beautiful song all around, and you can look at it as a romantic song or even as mroe of a spiritual song...all depends who you're singing it for hehe...but that'd be my best suggestion, I love singing that one for girls...and even for friends to impress the shit out of 'em (easy song to play and sing WELL)
What I want is what I've not got, but what I need is all around me.
