Don't listen to ants. They were not going to play Halloween. The guy apparently came in through one of the cargo docks in the back of the venue so it was the venue's security that failed, not the band's and that is who Carter was getting pissed at in the video.
Like I said in another post, I'm not really surprised that something like this happened. The show I went to we didn't get patted down/bags searched or anything. Maybe that was only that venue (Irvine). It was my first DMB concert, so maybe that's normal?

when I went in arizona, we got patted and everything.

I know it's the venue's security. just saying that he came in right next to carters set on the left side, and that was a personal account, I know the guy could still lie. but that seems possibly. and that once it happened teh security guy went strait for him.

Also, I'd be pissed if I was Carter too. Who knows what the hell that guy was going to do.

I also wouldn't believe any rumors or anything. Only thing I would trust is a statement from the band or security at Cville or something.

First hand account

this guy was in our section right before this yelling "it's my birthday, wheres my cake, I want my fucking cake... I'm not a violent man I'm a peaceful man" then the lady beside us saw him crawling up through the back curtain (he didn't go through the stairs is why security didn't catch him)

also after he was kicked out the first time for yelling a while later 7 cops ran backstage with UVA security and were behind the curtain for probably 15min but later came back... wasn't until after the show that I put two and two together...

but yea this really freaked me out seeing him sneak up beside carter and just knowing it was the guy that was beside us a while ago... he just looked like a psycho

this really is a scary thing to happen. I do remember one guy at ants saying "oh this isn't anything drunk people go on stage all the time" he was a bit of idioit.

It happened in hartford last year, but it was two kids.

I know there's been different times stuff has happened, but this could of been like as serious as the time there was a knife thrown on stage. (pretty sure that happened)
