classic Dylan songs always work, like Like A rolling Stone, Tambourine Man, the original version of All Along the Watchtower, Stuck Inside a Mobile With The Memphis Blues Again, or Rainy Day Women.
Also, classic beatles like A Hard Days Night, Yesterday, You've Got To Hide Your Love Away, Black Bird, Acorss the Universe, or Come Together.

So I just got back from my gig! It was awesome...
I played 5 songs.. 2 originals, Waiting on an Angel (Ben Harper), Where Are You Going (DMB), and Frail (Jars of Clay instrumental). No major mess-ups... and it was the first time I actually used my amp and Shure SM58 mic in a live performance (you know, you buy equipment with the vision of playing out... and I finally used the stuff for that purpose). Some great friends came out to see me play... and the other singer/songwriter I played with mentioned at the end of the gig that we should play out again. And finally, the coffee house put a tip jar on one of the tables and it filled up with $22. So, I split it 50/50 with the other performer. (I wasn't anticipating being paid... I just wanted to play out... so it was icing on the cake).
Thanks for the recommendations everyone. I may use some of then in my next gig (have to practice).
Peace-
