Which was why Dave went to go work with Ballard in the first place.) Anyway, these have got to be some of the most, if not the most moving pieces of work this band has ever done and probably will ever do. If finished it would have surpassed BTCS, and in all honesty, to me anyway, it is its equal even in its unfinished state. Well those are just some of my thoughts on the whole ordeal, I would like to get a good conversation going since this is probably my favorite thing to talk about in terms of DMB.
dont feel like reading the whole thread. but I would say track for track it is on par with BTCS if not a notch higher. As an album BTCS is leaps and bounds ahead.

just my opinion though.

And if Lillywhite/DMB doesn't want the record leaked, then RELEASE IT!!!
That makes absolutely no sense at all. Your solution to them not wanting people to hear it is to release it? I'm pretty sure DMB isn't really upset about the fact that they are missing record sales. I think they are more upset that something they feel is sub-par is out there that they aren't happy with people having.
What you said does make sense, them being the craftsmen, the artists. After reading so much about the LWS, it would be awesome to release the album. But you are right, DMB should release what they feel fit to be released. It would just be great if they would release the thing.
Wait, what are you guys talking about? You do realize the Lillywhite Sessions were leaked and released over 5 years ago right. If your talking about an official release then forget it, Busted Stuff covered that, plus they will never work with Lillywhite again so the SHN's we got in 2002 and the subsequent remasters of those that have sprung up this year are the best quality releases we will ever see of these sessions.
Yeah I know. My point was regarding what he originally said that they should just release Lillywhite Sessions, and I was replying about my take on why they were upset with the leak of the Lillywhite sessions.

Oh I agree, BTCS is a near perfect album. I just think that with full production and completed lyrics on certain tracks the LWS would have been on par because like you said track for track it can certaintly match up.

I downloaded the first and second remastered ones (thanks Gianni), but I deleted the first when getting the second. However, it seems as if on my SUAD the bass drops off. I had posted this before and forgot to check back, but does anyone have the original remaster before the second one?

I think this is from the first set of remasters, correct me if I'm wrong.

I just dont see it being as perfectly transitioned and it having that over theme like BTCS had. I guess Tim and bela are necessary :)

Am I the only person that doesn't like half of the songs on the LWS or Busted Stuff?

I like them all, but I think comparing it to BTCS is a little out there.

I think the ones that I have are the second remaster from the 1st person that did it...they came out about a day after the VERY first ones.
