"Glad I'm Not God" Redo (Faster)

Unread post by mattinbeloit » Thu Sep 07, 2006 5:54 pm

I recorded this over the weekend and have been editing it since then, all said and done I think I ended up fucking it up more then doing good but that's part of the process in learning how to do something, and I'm still not very good on the master program side of things. Anyway. this is a faster version of Glad I'm not God that I posted a while back. I tried to have some subtle harmonies in there and it worked ok in some parts, but a lot of parts get annoying after a while, but at the point I realized it was annoying, it was a stereo sound wave tha I had been editing for a day or so and nothing I could do about it... You can also go here http://www.dmbtabs.com/boards/viewtopic.php?t=30796 and listen to the original version of this that was a lot slower and see what you think.

Not sure how much my input matters, but amazing how speeding it up can change the song so much. I like this version better. I think it would help this song if after the repeating "what have i created" toward the end you add a little jam, breakdown, bridge whatever u would call it. Just to break the repetativeness. Love the lyrics, could u post them.
