definitely agreed, 8.25 is unrealNitro1515 wrote:This one is good, but that 8.25 version is second to none. This version seems a little more mellow than the other ones I've heard recently.bbatsell wrote:your thoughts, oh wise one? how does this compare to 8/25 or whenever it was?

One thing that does kinda bother me about Shotgun is how the two parts of the song don't really seem to fit together. I love both of them, but I actually believe that each part was a separate idea that they had on the shelf and instead of completing them they decided to slap them together into one song. There really is no transition between the intro, verses and choruses. It just sounds a little odd. I still love the song, don't get me wrong, but it just seems a little lacking in cohesiveness.
as will the album.Nitro1515 wrote:One thing that does kinda bother me about Shotgun is how the two parts of the song don't really seem to fit together. i actually like how on the 8.25 version at about 6:46 when it goes into dave playing the main riff, that i really like - but getting into that part at about 5:22 seems a bit off - even if it was 2 separate ideas (which i agree it probably was) i don't care, i love that songNitro1515 wrote:most likelyGSR wrote:as will the album.Nitro1515 wrote:One thing that does kinda bother me about Shotgun is how the two parts of the song don't really seem to fit together.
