Lets have a guitar Off

I dont know if this has been done or not, but I am going to do it. Lets have a guitar off. Everyone play thier fav. songs on guitar and post them. Then we can have people vote on what they want to play and what everyone wants to play so we can continue the thread. Seems like a good Idea to me, plus amature players like me( I suck) can get advise on what to do and how to help them out in playing. What yall say

this is actually very common on these boards.

we normally do "competitions" and we normally all play the same song.

the last competion was "choose any song from the following album"

i doubt this thread will actually get a lot of recordings, we normally talk about a competition for a couple weeks before people record.

Have we ever done a guitar off before on here? If we didn't, it sounds like a pretty good idea. I'm in, hopefully more people will do it. How do we pick the song?

you post your fav. song first, and then when we get enough votes we all play the same 1 that has the most votes, which envoles into a guitar off.

well I guess just guitar I dont know how that would work with more than 1 insrtument. If you can think of a way be my guest include diff instruments

Then this 'guitar off' would include what? We'll judge who does the best version or what?

I didn't mean put other instruments, I just meant vocals or not. Depending on what song I pick, I might add vocals. You can go to this thread (my contest from about a month ago), and see how to set up the rules and junk. By the way, I'll do LIOG too if that's cool.
