So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

I can't wait for this to come! I wish I could buy it now! Being able to see the strumming will be a HUGE help!
Why do lawyers always have to take so long!

Hey Jkatner,
I know this reply is coming to you like 8 or 9 months late, but I was curious as to see if your process of the DVD has already begun. First off, let me start by saying I would definately purchase this DVD as I've been looking everywhere for a decent DVD training of DMB songs.
Second, the reason why I am really posting this, I wanted to offer you my "free" time and equipment on this project (if it hasn't already begun). I am a professional videographer and own two professional MiniDV camcorders (Canon XL1 and Canon GL2). I also own professional audio equipment such as a clip-on lavilar for your voice and a Sennheiser ME66 Shotgun Microphone for the guitar.
Anyway, I do training videos for a living and would love to help out with a project like this. My time would be free and might save you a few hundred, if not a thousand, bucks on production costs.
I guess this all doesn't matter if (A) you've already begun production and bought your cameras (B) you live somewhere other than Southern California (C) you really just aren't interested in my offer.
Either way, let me know.

Thanks Beauford33 & BigSpeen3436.
I have been able to contact Jkatner and we have been discussing quite a bit on AOL Instant Messenger how we can continue the process of this DVD.
Although he has not completely committed to using my offer for the production, he has expressed great interest in it. He is still tied up with legal issues that could inevitably decide the fate of the DVD.
I do feel bad that he has not been able to start anything for many months, but I am happy that I still have an opportunity to possibly contribute something to a great project such as this.
As I told Jkatner, the reason why I even offered this is because I have two main passions in my life (among others too) (1) my videography career and (2) The Dave Matthews Band.

he has been for the past x months. Not problems really, just not hearing from them for months on end. DMB's legal team isn't very quick I guess
