they could have just cut crush and cant stop and had plenty of time. yes crush is awesome but when you got a chance to have the flecktones guest on seek up you have to make room.

yeah and no. i think people exagerate how much better setlists and performances are at certain venues.

Yeah I don't like it at all. Seems like they save all their good stuff for the special venues. Darien sucked ass last year because they were just resting up for Randall's.

yes and no.

it always seems like the big venues of the summer (this year being fenway, randalls, gorge, adn c-ville) get the better sets and best shows, but i think they do stuff for the normal venues as well.

for example:

noblesville got a rare #40 this year, they invited ian gordan and reggie watkis to guest with them during their two night run at burgettstown, spac got the random apperence of musi mahlahesa, and they invited john d'earth to join them at va beach

fly to cincy and see a show with me, then we will cruise up to deer creek, you will see a giant difference. granted riverbend is a piece of shit that needs to be imploded and deer creek is a great venue. but the shows arent nearly as good anymore at riverbend.

04 looks banging at riverbend. 3 tour debuts that late in the tour, pretty impressive. i know this year sucked there, but i think if they played the show in full (as seen on the setlist scan, not what they actually played) it would of been alot better
