TWO STEP??? that is extremly easy to play AND sing at the same time.... I'd have to go with TB only because the singing And playing is kinda difficult....

i have to agree that two step is easy.... but i was initially a drummer so rhythm isnt really a problem... moving around the fretboard cleanly can be... which is why TB gave me troubles... but only learning to play.. singing with it once you can play was pretty easy because he sings pretty much with the rhythm he plays...

minarets i cant play and sing at the same time becuase of the run...

Playing wise I found TB to take the longest, along with the stone, but once i got them down they were really easy to play and sing with. Captain took a while just because of the stretch. As far as playing and singing I think Loving Wings is the hardest.

Warehouse. Getting the intro to sound the way it should took quite a while.

What helped me with the stone is learning the timing for the singing first. At that time I could play most of the parts of the song just not put them together yet. So now I have learned to play the song fairly decent and the singing along is just natural to me.

The song really isnt that hard to play like said above its very repititious.

warehouse is hard to get right,

fool to think is hard to sing,
billies verse can get hard to keep over 4min.

jimi thing verse took a while to get the newer sound,.... ie dave plays a much more aggressive mutted style than 10 years ago.

The point is being missed here…if you’ve been playing guitar for a while (several years), Dave songs will be easier to learn. If you’re brand new at guitar, and you decide to start w/ Dave songs, they’ll be really challenging. For someone to say that they learned the Stone in one week, I don’t imagine it was the first or second song they ever learned...but if they've been playing a while, it's very possible.

My cousin’s been playing guitar for a long time…I proudly showed him how to play the stone a few years back and 90 seconds later, he could play the verse back flawlessly. The longer you’ve been playing, the easier these songs will be to learn.

i started purely on dmb songs... its the best acoustic around (for me personally)..i have a blast playing.

for me once i got my first song down (singing and playing) i havent really found it hard to sing and play many songs. even songs i cant play well as soon as i learn them i can sing them while playing.

it is singing WELL while playing them that is the problem :D

Different songs come easier to some than others. Somebody said before warehouse was difficult, however I found it very easy to learn. Somebody else said before that two step is easy to learn but that song took me more time to learn than say TB or The Stone. I just think some songs click for some people faster than others do. And the person a few posts above me was right, the longer you've been playing the quicker you pick up on newer songs when you go to learn them.

All opinion. I found TB fairly easy to play and sing, and The Stone, you just have to practice the main riff enough times that you can do it without thinking.

I have trouble playing and singing Two Step. Just keeping the constant "two step" strumming pattern while singing gets me caught up.
I agree with that, because the singing part is fairly high for most adult(ish) males and when coupled with the strumming pattern, its fuck-off tricky.
