Little baby feet and the rumors of message boards
Just got back from the gig at Randal's Island. It was a great show and I had a great time playing with Warren Haynes and The Flecktones!

Just want to thank everyone who has been leaving congrats for the birth of our second daughter Flora, I'm so in love....

Sorry I've not been posting and I will get back to it soon, I've just been pretty busy and have not had the easiest time writing this past month. Don't worry; there is more to come on IZSTYLE and this blog!

Last thing, I do not go to nancies.org or antmarching.com because in the past I have been so bugged out by reading what people perceive to be the truth or what the rumors are being spread around those message boards. I do not want to become a spokesperson for the band via this site, which is not what it is intended for, yet I also do not want other fan sites to be spreading around rumors that are not true. This being said, don't believe these rumors, and as for this person who seems to be such a reliable source when it comes to band information, I would love to know how close they really are to the band and they should send me a post describing just how they came by their info. When people are bored, they will start shit.

I also don't go on the boards because my wife won't let me. They are not the words of truth, I am and so is the official band and fan site.

Yep, from what I hear this is Roi's last year with the band because he wants to do his own thing. Looks like they may have been grooming Rashawn for the last two years after all. Good chance Charlottesville may be his last shows. He might stick around for the planned winter tour but it looks like that's the last we'll see of him as anything but a guest.

No, I have no proof at all but the people I got it from have been on the level with me for years now and never gave me bullshit info. Moreover, most of you all know me well enough to know I do not start rumors just to create a stir

There's no one happier to hear I was wrong than I am. In the original thread I laid out my intenttions for even starting the thread. Because if it turned out to be true I would have felt guilty not passing along some information that could have allowed you all to see Roi a few more times. I believed it to be true and I hope you all can at least give me the benefit of the doubt on that count. I would not have posted it if I didn't believe it myself. Anyone who has been in this community for an extended period of time and has spoken with me knows I do not start rumors, nor act high and mighty. My intentions in starting that were simple - to help fans, however misguided it may have been in hindsight. Please accept my apologies and know I am just as happy as anyone that this has been laid to rest.

For the recond I also dropped Fonz a line taking full responsibility and explaining my actions so he does not think his fans are a bunch of boneheads and so he knows who to tar and feather if he so chooses. He can lay the blame entirely at my feet because it was all my fault it got so out of hand. I made the bed and I'll stay in it. I felt I owed him an apology as much as anyone because I honestly did not consider the myspace aspect of the whole situation. I did not consider how his privacy would have been invaded by the internet and that I do regret 100%. I also regret having unwittingly used this site as the forum for passing this along so I did not want him to fault AM.org for MY actions. I would never do something to cause this band additional stress or work. This band has meant a lot to me over the last dozen years so I hope you can all believe I had no desire to annoy them or have Fonzie deal with fallout from this.

Again, though my credibility is probably nil at this point I do not regret it as much as some of you all may think I should. If it was true and I found out ahead of time I would have felt worse not having passed along the information that would have enabled a few of you all to see Roi one last time. Oh well, lesson learned here and I do apologize for the undue commotion but I hope some of you at least realize I had no malicious intentions in starting that thread, I did it in what I genuinely thought was the best interest of the fanbase. Rest assured I am humbled and apolgetic about the entire episode. Again, I know not everyone will be forgiving but I hope at least some of you can accept this apology at face value because I did not mean to cause such a giant stir nor undue stress on this community I enjoy so much. I was just trying to help out some ants with what I thought was reliable information. I was wrong and like I said, there is not one person here who is happier to know I was wrong than I am! I hope at least some of you realize my intentions were genuine and I am sincerely apolgetic to everyone here.

I also apologize to Matt, Jake, and Joe for this and want them all to know I that I took full responsibility for this mess so no one thinks MY actions were sancationed by this site in any way, shape, or form.
