Stuff about this being Roi's last tour...

Unread post by mattinbeloit » Thu Aug 03, 2006 9:48 pm

There is a huge thread on ants right now were a guy is saying his source says Roi is done. Regardless of what he says, some people have made some interesting points about some things that have come up that could support that idea, just wondering what some of you think, ants is crazy sometimes....

Some Points:

Ross being a permanent guest

The recent "Best of" info

Charlottsville is the last stop on the tour, full circle kind of philosophy

could happen. not sure it would end dmb. i'm really pretty apathetic about it. depending on this next album, dmb seems to be past their prime, i think this is something that we should be prepared for. Neil Young "It's better to burn out than to fade away." if dmb is done, then they had a good one. if they get another sax player to take roi's place, well, that could be really good or really bad.

either way, i think people need to face the fact that dmb isn't going to be together forever.

you're right. cause it's physically impossible for anyone to know what they're talking about at ants. matter of fact, it's a message board of monkeys that type at random, so there's no way that they could have insider info. plus, if dave hasn't called tictacs yet, we know it isn't true.

actually there is some truth to what he is saying. Jamie doesn't make stuff up for fun. And stuff about Roi leaving and being unhappy with the band has been floating around for awhile now. He always looks pissed onstage too.
