dave has a solo on the jimi thing at GGP...its actually really good if you ask me. no its not generic soloing like warren haynes or someone will do (not that generic is bad, just that its what you typically think of as a solo) but daves solo is so cool rhythmically and with chords that have a cool timbre and sound altogether different from anything else youve heard in a solo. i love it.

not that anyone would ever want to listen to the song all the way through, but in the Folsom Field version of Angel, right after the "lovely lady" sings about dave....she says something like "and then theres the man that plays the guitar..." Dave definatly does a more "standard" solo type thing, like in a pentonic scale. hard to hear but it's definatly there...and it's only a couple seconds long, nothing like that. it's pretty good though.
