Unread post by Taylor2885 » Sun Jul 30, 2006 3:21 pm

Does anybody happen to have a version of one of these early Minarets with Dave and Carter scatting in the intro described here ...

If anyone does, much appreciated.

If that's the one with "rusted root" then well, it kicks ass and thanks to whoever it was who upped it for me. By the way my friend absolutely loved it, he had only heard luther colleges minarets and never a full band so yeah, thanks again if you read this.

scat2 ( P ) Pronunciation Key (skt)
n.
Jazz singing in which improvised, meaningless syllables are sung to a melody.

Also another name for excriment or animal dung, if that's what you're referring to.

It starts with an "s" and ends with a "t". It comes out of you and it comes out me, i know what your thinking but lets not call it that, lets be scientific and call it "scat"!!

Learned that little ditty in the sixth grade at a week long nature trip, i never could manage to forget it.
