YES!!! I've been waiting for this for so long. And it will in no way undermine the efforts of traders or tapers, look at Phish. Still one of the most widely-traded bands even though they offer every show for download within 24 hours.

i hope so.... it will also be cool cuz when there is that sweet show, like 4-20-02 or 7-25-01 where they play some cool stuff, u can just buy it and DL it yourself, with really good quality btw.

They offer them for download for people like me who are too fucking lazy to deal with trading shows.

I'm pretty pumped about this, though I won't be able to afford many of them.

That would make my day. Going backwards, that is. I know it probably wont happen, but if I could get my hands on a high quality, complete recording of 11/9/96, I'd never have to buy a show again.

this is nice because now we can get sbds which arent really available anymore, but can still trade auds for shows which arent that important to us i guess

Depends on a lot of things. I believe livephish sells mp3's for $10 and flac's for $12 or something like that. My guess is that DMB would be a little cheaper than that, though we still have no clue as to what formats they're going to be offering.
