Have you ever considered using a wiki to allow users to add and edit tabs? Seems like it could help keep things organized and in one place.

plus he has even included some alternate tabs on different songs. these tabs are the exact way dave plays them, cant get any more accurate.jsgksu wrote:People come here because Jared has the best, most accurate tabs. If we let people just change shit around because theyre uninformed and think it should be different, the sites integrity would go to hell. Dont you think?
I'm not questioning the accuracy of the tabs.. I'm just suggesting a way to keep all the tabs in one place. There are a lot of tabs on the boards from users that aren't on the main page. Also it seems a lot of people have trouble finding tabs on the boards that aren't in the main list of tabs. A wiki would require no work from admins because the tabs would be monitored and corrected by other users.

You're not going to see a wiki on here, simply because we want to be able to verify tabs before they come from our website and wikis are difficult to police (before you jump my ass, I'm a sysop on Wikipedia, I'm not unfamiliar with wikis). However, you will see a facility that will alleviate your concerns. Thank you for the suggestion.
