Hey guys. Anyone know of a good site to get the Washburn D10S from? So far best price I've found is 189.99 from music123.com

I'm going to check out some more but I figured some of you might know some of the good sites...

I'm also going to check in a music store here... Thanks again for everything!

your best bet, honestly, is to go to a guitar center (or any other store that will match competitor's prices) and take a printed off copy of that music123 price.

Music123 had faaaar better prices than anywhere else I saw when I was looking for a new guitar, but....I didn't want to buy a guitar from the internet.

Reason for that: I played 3 Martin MDs (thought I wanted one) I hated 2 of them and loved the third. When you buy online you never know what you'll get.

So, find a store that will match prices, go find a guitar that you really like, then bust out the price from music123, congratulations, look at all the money you saved!

Oh, an afterthought, Guitar Center doesn't sell Washburns, but they have Ibanez, Takamine, Gibson, etc...some nice things in your range.
Peace,

Stunt

I say go for the Yamaha F 310 - I have one, found it for about $130 brand new at a guitar shop in Saratoga (you could probably find it for less elsewhere) Put Elixir or Martin SP strings on it and it sounds beautiful. Spruce top, mohagany sides, rosewood fretboard. And since it's so cheap it won't make you cry when you ding it -- which is important with your first guitar since you will ding it. A lot.

Hey, I ding my Taylor a lot. Really doesn't bother me. I mean, I try to be careful with it and all, but I play my guitar. I don't put it on a stand and admire its sheen or anything.
