I was just going to compliment you on a nice car if you had one but just the same congrats on the bass, big guy. As for the tab, it is played a little on the faster side and I'm still in the early stages of learning. I wasn't really clear about it's potential or what might work with it so I came here for some advice because there are some very talented people.![]()

well back to the riff. i just play it on my bass, being fairly interpretive with the 7p4h7 stuff and i did it with a kind of funky feel similar to some umphrey's mcgee song that i cant figure out right now....but i just started spicing it up going to a higher octave, a few different notes...its fun to mess around with...

first off i could see how thatsitsir could be offened i misunderstood gsr's post at first.
i havent been playing that long but this is what sounded decent to me, its played a little faster with some palm muting and some xtra bass notes wherever. the second riff is strummed. i know its different but if u are comfortable playing those notes this should be fine.

Thanks, that sounds pretty cool. As for the rest of it, I still stand by my statement that NONE of his posts added any value to the original topic. Therefore, what was his end in mind in posting? Too much free time? Who knows? Either way, a waste, as is any further discussion on anything but the original post. To those of you who think it's irrelevant that his posts added no value and want to e-gang up on me, that's sad and is probably the reason why the on-line dmb community is the way it is.
