Where can I go with this little riff I just came up with?

In terms of where to go from here? I like it, but I can't find anyting that I like for a bridge or chorus. Maybe it just isn't worth while? Oh, and I don't know how to post a tab so bear with me if the tab looks crazy.

Hey, I have been a lurker here for years, I just never got around to registering. Everyone here is so knowledgeable I honestly never felt like I had anything of worth to contribute, so why waste the bandwith?

yeah, either record or redo the tab to indicate timing a little better. I was messing around with it, and if I played it pretty fast it sounded alright, but slow (at least, slow the way I'm playing it) sounds pretty discordant.

So I guess you're the message board mal-content? No need to be stand-offish, I thought this was a discussion board about music for casual and advanced musicians alike? Cheer up, you're only 19. Oh, about the car thing, Integras are one of the best handling FF platforms in their class ever built. Not to mention being performance oriented and fuel efficent for their time. I was just going to compliment you on a nice car if you had one but just the same congrats on the bass, big guy. As for the tab, it is played a little on the faster side and I'm still in the early stages of learning. I wasn't really clear about it's potential or what might work with it so I came here for some advice because there are some very talented people.

Well thats good that you wrote it down. I come up with tons of riffs like that but forget them like a week later. Something will come..just put it off to the side and worry about something else. O and Integras r sweet I guess, If I had to choose a jap ride I would pick a Evo 8.

Buy a decent digital recorder. I promise you, it's worth the $50 to $80 investment. I have had riffs that I recored, that went perfectly with lyrics I wrote a month or two later, and the whole thing turned into this really amazing song. You never know when it's going to all fall into place like that.

I've been posting in this community since DMBML and there is a large demographic of the fan base that thinks e-fighting and being caddy somehow adds to threads. I realize that being reactionary doesn't solve the problem, but his posts added zero value to the topic. If you think the integra sucks, great. I don't care, I was just trying to make make small talk with him to take the conversation in a positive direction. To those who responded with useful and on topic comments, thanks. I'll keep messing with it and maybe it'll work into something else. Cheers.
