Two Coldplay Cover Songs!

Hey there,

FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY! I think I got it to work! I have no idea if covers of other bands besides Dave Matthews are allowed, so if they aren't, I apologize and please remove this post. But assuming they are, I'd love it if you all checked them out. Me and a girl did the two coldplay songs, with me on Ryhthm and Harmonica, and her on Lead guitar for both. Anyway, ALL opinions totally welcome and encouraged (I really trust this board's taste for some reason...must be the whole "you guys like Dave Matthews so you must know what's up" vibe) Thanks a ton!

Finally! It works! *dance* If anyone still happens to care somehow, there's a cover of Shiver on the site, with

EADG#BE tuning, and I think it turned out ok. The girl I played with is rad- she can really nail those riffs. Tell me what you think, ALL comments super welcome. Thanks!

UPDATE: yea....you're kick ass man. are you on the riff of this? who's doing those little licks? and you're voice is awesome. i wish i could get to the high notes like that. lucky bastard.....Props man. great cover. really really great.

Shiver was nicely done...Although I don't like that song particularly, I enjoyed listening to your cover... The fills were great..

Thanks a ton for the feedback, it's really appreciated. We did the cover fast, and the lyrics and voice are pretty messed up, but I'm glad you liked the fills my friend did, she'd be mighty pleased

Man it's one of my dreams having a female buddy playing and jamming with me. I mostly play alone, I got a buddy that plays the guitar too but he's in other stuff than I am

Yeah, I got extremely lucky. Not only does she play decently well, (we've been playing for the same amount, a little over a year) but she's in my building, we have VERY similar taste in music (she teaches ME Dave songs) and she loves playinjg lead for almost anything. Tis a guitar player's dream!
