I thought it was great. although I agree that the guitars didn't blend too well, but it wouldn't always be like that, this was just for fun.

he probably doesnt shave because hes like me.. he hates to shave. its just gonna grow until its like 50 feet long and he has to drape it over his shoulder and wrap it around himself just so that he doesnt have to drag his hair along the ground. people will be like dave why dont you shave? and hell be like because im a lazy person and shaving sucks.

I agree bout the guitars I thought that Trey's guitar was too loud and that instead of being a nice lead lick that you hear kind of in the backgrond the song was being led by the lead and dave playing the rhythm was on heard every now and then. Kind of backwards so I wasnt too happy with SM cause the lead leading (if that makes sense) didnt really work with that song but for SDL the lead leading did work so I liked it.
If your friend is already dead, and being eaten by vultures, I think it's okay to feed some bits of your friend to one of the vultures, to teach him to do some tricks. But ONLY if you're serious about adopting the vulture.

Well......
I basically just got home from work and i recored the show(vhs ofcourse).
I just got done trying to watch the show and my fucking vcr fucked up the recording and everything sounded fucked up like you were playing with the tracking button(i tried that and it didn't help any
).
It seems like dave was pretty happy though(i love the beard, just shaved mine off two days ago(great minds think alike, but i've gotta work for a living
). I didn't know trey was gonna be there but i thought it was awesome, both "save me" and "so damn lucky". Ofcourse, dave could record himself taking a shit and i'd probably think it was good......ok, well probably not but you get what i'm saying, dave rules.
Anyways, i hope those recordings show up somewhere's on the internet so that i can get decent recordings.
So dave will be on Letterman on 12-18 and 19 i hear? I'll be waitin'!

Honestly, it sounded better than I thought it was going to, but I was hoping that it was gonna be just Dave...no one else. But since there was a full band, I gotta say that it was like Dave shouldn't have had a guitar. It was ridiculous. It wouldn't have made a difference if his guitar was strung or not. And what was up with Trey and Tim. I like Tim so much more than Trey, but they weren't really even sync'd up. Trey played the lead on it well, but Timmy shoulda had a better part. It was so excessive. Just Tim, or just Trey, maybe someone on bass, I duno. I liked the way Dave sang, and I liked the songs, but the performance was just blah. Away with this pretense.

I love you oh so well, like a kid loves candy and fresh snow.
