Collaboration: Dream Girl (Cello, Guitar, Vocals!)
This features Ben Pezzner on cello, Miguel Fernandes and his fabulous voice, and myself on guitar.
This turned out great in my opinion. I came up with an acoustic version of Dream Girl over a year ago, recorded this guitar track this winter, then recently sent it to Ben so he could add cello. From there, I sent it to Miguel who added the vocals.
Ben really closes this out well. Listen to 4:28 - 4:32 in the left channel. How beautiful.

yup.. Miguel, great voice man, keep it up. Guitar was good, cant really say anything negative about it, would love to see a tab. Ben, you are an amazing guy, what can't you play lol. I know from experience how hard it can be to mix in orchestral instruments when you track them like that and don't record them all at once. Not only was that arangment great, but the placement of the different tracks really made the recording and sat in the back and filled in the gaps both musically and image wise and got out there and stood out when need be, really good job. Many times when you don't have many instruments like this the recording can sound dead and have spaces in there and dead space, this was not the case here. One of the best i've seen on here. I would love to hear the wave version if you guys would be willing to ysi it on here or something, I would like to have a copy in a good quality.wkpggrvn2001 wrote:wow fellas very impressive, i can say without a doubt i enjoyed that much more then the cut off of stand up.

Thanks for that awesome critique. Props to Pat for the mixing and killer guitar work.
