Getting Started

Unread post by Yakko » Thu Jul 06, 2006 2:36 pm

Heres ze deal. I'm starting to get a few original songs under my belt, and I am looking for something to record them with. I definetely want something that will work, sound clear and not be too expensive. I don't really know what to get; I am recording guitar and vocals. I want to mic up the guitar, so are there any packages you guys recommend for me to get?

Thanks!

Random movie quote to make you seem hip and "with it": As long as there's, you know, sex and drugs, I can do without the rock and roll.

Do I listen to pop music because I'm miserable or am I miserable because I listen to pop music?

Im looking for something in the 500-1000 dollar range. I know it will probably sound shitty, but I don't want to sell my house.
