I battle with floor wedges all the time, it takes time to get used to IEM's or PEM's (as they are more commonly known) but the benefit is a custom mix and the freedom to move around.

Then you didn't have good earphones or a good IEM. Trust me, if they're of good quality, they're amazing to have.brian_ok wrote:I've only used them once on stage, and the sound in the IEMs was very different than the stage sound. Not the mix, but just the overall quality of sound. I much prefer floor monitors.

...would someone know where to get one?
Probably, they were pretty 'watery.' I was mic'd and my voice sounded like gargling. Plus, the feeling of being cut off from the stage. Now, just the drummer regularly used IEMs because giving him a monitor with his drum walls isn't practical.bbatsell wrote:Then you didn't have good earphones or a good IEM. Well, I've been doing audio and lighting for many, many years. You can get pretty much all of the band's equipment list from their site:fedelm wrote:How you know all these things??
