Three New Originals
Three New Originals
So, after almost 9 months w/o writing a single song, i decided to sit down and write something shitty and easy. and w/ that came three new songs. these are for the most part, sit down play and sing at the same time single recordings, so this post isn't really for quality or production, more for putting the new ones out there and seeing if you guys like them
So, i present, the W's.
1. Where Did I Go Wrong
http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?a ... 575A90A777
This was the easy piece that i wrote strictly to write something new. Not saying the others are amazing or anything, but this one was written in literally like 10 minutes.
2. Who's To Blame
http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?a ... 5941CD31C4
This song was written about a family i know that went through a bunch of hardships one after another. a good family, and i couldn't believe the shit that was piled on top of these people.
it's way overproduced. I recorded it, rerecorded it and then had to use the vocals over another music piece caues people came home are making too much noise for me to rerecord it so that's why it sounds a bit weird. Sorry for that. it's by far my fav of the three though, so i hope you enjoy it. again, sorry for the bad production and the clicking, i'm trying to get used to my DD-6 and Wah pedal and playing over myself.
3. What's Right In Front Of You

Easy listening good feeling song. Hope you like it.

I listened to them. Well, I couldn't make it through Who's To Blame. It was just too long.
I like the idea of just sitting down and writing anything. Even if you think it's shit, it's something and helps to get out of a slump, but you know that already.
I really liked what's in front of you. Good stuff.

totally agree, just writing anything is good, your bound to have at least one good line in what you write. and then stuff just developsTrippin Hillbilly wrote:I listened to them. Well, I couldn't make it through Who's To Blame. It was just too long.

It's late, so all I can think to say is that it was good when you sang your ass off towards the end, that sounded great and you could feel the emotion in it.
