possible rare 5/1/92 and 9/11/02 shows (with DL for all)

Unread post by MOE.PHISH » Sat Jun 24, 2006 6:15 pm

i found this file on my brothers computer that he has had for awhile (hes been downloading shit of bt.etree.org for years) but anyway it says its Dave from 5/1/92, solo acoustic some songs seeming oddly slower than ususal tempo (WWYS

anyway the files says Rutebega Studies, its a complete set (1 track 50 min) containing BOWA, recenteley, cry freedom, tripping billies, song that jane likes, ill back u up, WWYS, After Her (i think thats what its called, satellite riff), LLD, OSW, typical, dancing nancies, say goodbye

but, when i look it up on ants it says dave played a "prom party" with no setlist

the recording is def dave solo, with not the greatest sound quality, do you think that this is prob just an old mislabeled solo set or could it be from that date?

(IM me on premiertl6 if anyone wants me to direct send it to them)

!!
EDIT: i just found 9/11/02 as well (DKE frat house) which the location is confirmed by ants, but they dont even have the setlist, some funny davespeak as he talks about a penis on a girls hand (tradtionally stupid shit frats put on ur hands)

again, anyone want any of this IM me or tell me how to yousendit since im too lazy to search how to do it :)

Ya, i've seen both of those pop up from time to time. Nothing new, but good find, I listen to them every once in a while.

Yo Nate, if you find time, would you mind posting the show from the DKE Frat House? I had it, but can't seem to find it now

Much appreciated, either way.

NOTE: track 17 is really the first track
(dont worry though the actual track names are there when u play them anyway)

this show became one of the more predominant early Dave solo shows. It's a nice long set containing all of the favorites of the early days, including a Dave solo Spotlight, a Dave solo Blue Water with an extra chrous, and an extreme rarity "Once on a Wild Afternoon" which was also known as "Destiny" or "The Mystery song"
