sweet up and down-dave's voice

Unread post by brian_ok » Sat Jun 24, 2006 10:38 am

Do yourself a favor and listen to the LWS version of Sweet Up and Down, and pay attention at around 3:37, when Dave goes "you're just fine, on the sweet up and dooooown". His voice bend, for lack of a better word, is one of the coolest things I've ever heard him do.

PS another cool thing I've noticed recently about DMB, is Carter's entrance on Stay (BTCS). Just listen to it, he does a very cool little thing.

Its really cool, its like he is flat for a second and then brings it up, reminds me of a blues singer bending a note.
Do I listen to pop music because I'm miserable or am I miserable because I listen to pop music?

Carter's beginning on SUAD is my favorite Carter moment in any of the studio songs. The little roll fill thing at about 12 seconds into the song.

Listen to Rapunzel on BTCS around 3:41-3:42. When he says "strength" he definitely has a gay lisp.
