originial (audio)
i changed the lyrics.
just a walk in the park
hello my friends let me tell you
of a man who didn't understand
that life is to short for him to worry
about it, i told him it's hard sometimes
but not to worry,
just remember
it's just a walk in the park
this man kept telling me,
you see there is all
this heartache and hurt
clouding up my life,
i just dont see a way through
this foggy afternoon, and
overcast sky of depending doom
but i tell him,
just remember
it's just a walk in the park
yes this life
is just a walk in the park
then he said,
man you dont get it i feel like the
devil is reigning over my land
i got no good crops, no women, no friends,
i feel like my neighbors have
gotten all my good news, while
i'm stuck with all these missing clues,
man even you seem a bit crazy to me
oh but my friend the good news is simple
just remember
it's just a walk in the park
that simple man
so just remember
it's just a walk in the park
just remember
it's just a walk in the park

Re: originial (lyrics for now)
before i put anything down i fumbled around with some other lyrics and decided for now id open it with hello my friend, but then i couldnt really see how id take it from there. i just dont see how else to open it up to the rest of the song, and my other two verses beginnings seem too repetitive.Hydro120 wrote:Sup, "Best of What's Around"?bassman462 wrote:I havent gotten a chance yet to make a crappy recording of it yet, but i got some lyrics i think i might want a bit of help on.

I was just half-kidding man. Take my comment lightly. It sounded pretty similar. Don't change them just because of what I said.
Either way, looks good so far. But as with any lyrics, the music they go with can either make them better or worse. So I'd have to hear the music too, to make a good judgement.

haha. I laughed when I heard that. Not in a bad way, but in a good way! Thats a catchy little riff when you do the just a walk in the park part, me likey! I will say that you should practice this alot, I think you can do much better, practice practice, but good start, its great.

Cool riff man, and i agree with matt that the walk in the park is interesting. i think its wonderfully dissonant and really separates that from the rest of the song.
Singing needs a little work, but keep it up, cool song!

Do I listen to pop music because I'm miserable or am I miserable because I listen to pop music?
