You guys wanna see why I won't be playing guitar for a while

Want to ask about strings, maintenance, amps, mics, or comparisons of different guitars or any music equipment? This is for all threads related to music equipment.

Check out my bridge:

It was fine for a while, action was high...but played fine. Now it won't stay in fucking tune.

The crappy ass, shitty, asshole ONLY guitar store near me said they wanted to charge me $100-$125 to get it fixed. And considering I sent in basically my last $100 to keep this website up and running, I am shit out of luck. Any suggestions other than saving up for a new guitar(or hoping my dad comes through)???

Lata all...ENJOY YOUR STUPID GUITARS...WHO NEEDS EM ANYWAY.................................................me :(

You could drive up to New York and bring it to me for the next 2 weeks while I am not at school.

Nope. That guitar is one of my fraternity brothers guitars. I am not at school so have no access to that. I may be able to borrow my best friends guitar for the meantime but not sure, I hope

I for one would be willing to help you get your guitar fixed. You have given us an awesome gift that is this website, so maybe we should give something back to you. I say you set up a paypal account and we could all donate 5-10 bucks so you can get your guitar fixed. I'm sure most of the people here would be with me.
Could I have been dancing nancies?

I'll contribute as well...this website is one of the coolest things that's come along since the Dave himself...so set up that paypal acct and I'm there!
What I want is what I've not got, but what I need is all around me.
