Lets let them play it in concert first before we start talking about it appearing on an album.
Dude, watch out. He's always right and he knows karate.
I was joking about sugar will, but you're a sharp guy, slim.

I think not. But, again, I might be wrong.

Fede
two step didnt become the 20 minute jam song until recently, same with jimithing. two step from like, say 99, is about 8 minutes, check listener supported from a year or two later and its a bit longer, then 2002 hits and we get the 18 minute jams. jimi thing was always growing to a jam song like the way it is now, it just took some time, but it happened. i just want them to jam billies someday

bayou isnt a jammed song...its just a really long ending that has the potential for a robert randolph solo and a bunch of energetic repitition

i think they should play american baby and find a way to merge it into the AbI, and have that as a long outro jam
Gervais on Rosa Parks "she was arrested but then that law was changed- but she didnt stop there, she started sitting in the seats saved for disabled people. unbelavable, she talked to the driver when the bus was in motion- did she have the correct change ready? - did she bollox!"

well, a lot of "jams" are just that. They have one part that repeats and then everyone usually takes a turn and throws some improvisation in there. that's how Bayou works. If Randolph is there he does his thing, then leroi and ross do their thing, and the rest of the guys just play that same part. Thats how I remember red rocks from last summer when they played it. I don't know if that means they aren't jams though...

As for not having new jam songs, I think they will eventually evolve into jams if the band finds them worthy and feels that a certain songs have that "feel" to them that they could become jams. Same way Seek Up and LIOG were both very short but become longer over time, I think we will see that with songs the band can really get into and one day be classified as "jam" songs.
