What drew you to DMB?

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

A friend of mine had a party for me before I got married in 2001 (not my official bachelor party) and he had the Listener Supported DVD playing. I've been hooked ever since.

I saw the music video for Don't Drink the Water when I was about 10 years old or so, and it honestly scared me. It was really weird, and I would always change the channel because of it. Then later, in 2001, my friend was a big fan and I bought him the everyday cd as a gift. He made me listen to it repeatedly, and I soon became hooked. I later made the connection with the DDTW video, and I'm no longer scared of it...

but hey, i was 10 okay...

Their lyrics. They just blow me away. The fact that they are so talented with their instruments and can just rock out sends shivers down my spine that few other bands can do.

Thus, loving this band.
"And for sure we have danced
In the risk of each other
Would you like to dance
Around the world with me?"

I needed something harder to play, so I went and downloaded random songs. The first one I listened to was One Sweet World - Luther College and it's been romance from there on.

the vaginal fluid they are secreting is the same composition of urine minus the uric acid and phosphorous. i learned that in 11th grade anatomy. btw, sometimes it does have a FAINT smell of Pizzle.

my cousin was always listening to them. i didnt like dave what's so ever. but after listening to him anytime i was around my cousin, which was often, a few songs start to grow on you. then i started playing guitar. went to my first dave show, and of course was blown away. maybe another key factor was that out of all the bands in the world, dmb has the hottest of hot women at every concert.

I bought L@LC when it first came out just on a whim because I didn't have a dave CD and I liked a few of his songs I heard on the radio like Ants and WWYS. Once I popped that bad boy in I was blown away. A year or so later I started dating this girl who was in love with Dave and that is why I started to learn a ton of Dave's songs.

The first time I heard Watchtower live was it for me. A buddy of mine gave me some live shows on cd and that was it for me...

Aw man it was def. the music that got my attention. I am a big musician, I can play just about all of Dave's songs on the drums, 15-20 on the guitar, and a few on the bass. His whole band is just awesome!

Stay on Mtv & Crush were the first songs I ever heard.

But I'd say that Jimi Thing and marijuana got me started listening to them. Luther College high, basically.
