sorry to keep the discussion going, but i just wanted to add one thing. It seems like a Metallica cover would be ridiculous, but it's not like they've never overcome that before when it comes to covers. Every cover they've done, in my opinion, they've always made it their own, which is the essance of a cover. If they would choose a Metallica cover (which would most likely happen when hell freezes over) then I feel it would be done well . . . they wouldn't play it unless they felt it was up to par, at least in their eyes, and most of their fans as well. When have they ever played a cover that a loyal fan said, "Wow, that was awful!"
