so you are saying dave didn't write the rhythm guitar parts for the album crash? or are you talking about tim's embellishments?
Dave wrote the rhythm parts for the songs on the album, but Tim played about 85% of the guitar tracks that are on the album. It was recorded by Dave and Tim playing at the same time, face to face, with a piece of glass between them. (read it in an interview) Some of the time, Tim played the exact same thing as dave, sometimes he played something a little different or embellished a little. Either way, Lillywhite removed most of Dave's channel for most of the songs, so the only guitar parts left were Tim's rhythm stuff. (and, of course, Tim's lead overdubs)
