This is the best board by far

I was trying to start Axe Chat as a forum for all guitar players of all kinda. Actually, anybody in band. But unfortunatly, it didn't happen. Kinda sux. It's still over at http://pilotc150.netfirms.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard.cgi if you wanna join and try help get other people there.

see if u could actually understand what i was saying, i wasnt putting anyone here down, but if thats how u want to be then go ahead, i was clearly saying that those other boards arent boring, but different, but for dmbfanjason, xoosh and whoever else that was, say what u want to say but its not a contest, this board is more of a joke than the other ones, u guys talk about the most pointless things

who wants to sit around and talk about equipment??? borrrrrring.......thats all i see at other sites...then i see people with "howie day" names or "john mayer" names, its like dude...get out of the dmb board, damn...
this board has character and interaction between people, the other board is just Q & A all day long...boring.....like i said...get out dude.

first of all kid, id like to see u make me get out, secondly, from what ive read here, all those other boards know more than you or anyone here knows.... so if u would actually read their posts you would know that they know what they're talking about more than anyone here does, u have no room to talk about other boards because you cant even understand what their talking about, so until you can mature a little bit i would just keep my mouth shut

all right ants... we understand that you come from a different viewpoint as us. we want to discuss different things - that's okay, everyone's entitled to their own opinion.

HOWEVER - if you don't like what we discuss on this board... then don't discuss it with us! Don't bitch at us for having "pointless topics", just move on to what you really like...

SOMETHING TO PONDER - if they were actually pointless, would we really ask them?

there's also no need to blatantly insult and flame the members of this board, nor make condescending remarks with regard to "maturity"

i believe your most recent posts expose the person who truly lacks maturity....

p.s. i love the "kid" comments... the only people who do that shit are around 11 years old, maybe getting into junior high and that want to appear to be grown-ups...

for whoever wants to know, i am 19 years old, now.... i didnt mean to come off as saying that everything on this board is pointless, i agree that some other boards do talk about things that matter not towards dmb and their music, these boards do help out beginner guitar players and i applaud their effort, but the fact that jason says that all of the other boards suck is completely out of line, why do u have to say what u talk about is better than what anyone else talks about, whos to decide, and i would like to see you post a poll on ants or nancies and see what they say, who would ask what board is the best on their own boards....

i can see what you are saying to some extant, but if someone posted a poll for best board on ants, i was definitely put dmbtabs, and i frequent ants too, but as you can see no one has put any other board except this one, and im pretty sure the majority of the people voting frequent all those other boards...they are just boring.

I got one. The main difference between this site and a lot of others is the content of the actual site. The entire site is Music related....so we get different type of topics. Dave's Guitar Forum is about JUST stuff for Dave and his amazing guitar. We get more relavant posts to Tabs and strumming and playing than most other places becuase that is the sole reason for this specific forum. That can clearly be seen by the most usage of this forum...even though we move stuff when they are posted in the wrong place. It's all good....I read all 3 other forums(MUSICIANS FORUM ONLY) every day, RIGHT ALONG SIDE of this forum. I don't get pissed at all. I read most posts or stuff that seems interesting in the title. If I can help or something....I post, otherwise I don't. Simple as that....no need to get angry at words people who you don't know type. It's all good guys...lata
